Benefits Other Benefits

Use the Other Benefits screen to set up"other" insurance plans.

The Other Benefits screen contains three tables:

  • Current Coverage —Use this table to review your current elections.
  • Enroll in New Coverage —Use this table to make new elections.
  • Dependent Information — Use this table to select one or more dependents to include in a benefit plan.

Current Coverage

Field Description
Coverage Plan

This field displays the name of your current plan.

Coverage Option

This field displays your current coverage level for the plan (for example, Employee or Family).

<Frequency>

This field displays your current premium amount per pay period (for example, the premium per month if you are paid monthly).

Plan Information

This field may display a hyperlink that you can use to access information about your current plan. If no link is set up, N/A displays instead.

Enroll in New Coverage

Field Description
Coverage Plan

This field displays the name of a plan.

Coverage Option

Use this drop-down list to select a coverage level for the plan (for example, Employee or Family).

<Frequency>

This field displays the new premium amount per pay period (for example, the premium per month if you are paid monthly).

Plan Information

This field may display a hyperlink that you can use to access information about the plan. If no link is set up, N/A displays instead.

Dependent Information

If your selected plan and coverage option includes one or more dependents, the coverage plan will display in the Dependent Information table. Select the dependent(s) that you want to include in the plan.

If no dependents are set up in the system, the table will not display.

Field Description
Coverage Plan

This column displays all of the "other" benefit election options that require dependents.

Covered?

Select the check box to the left of the dependent's name to indicate that the dependent should be covered under the plan. If the check box is clear, the dependent will not be covered.

The check box is enabled if the selected plan and coverage option require dependents.

Dependent

This field displays the name of a dependent who has been set up for you.

Relationship

This field displays the relationship of the dependent to you.
